The electronic volume control section circuit is faulty. The system control section tries to adjust the volume, by sending command voltage to the volume control section circuit, but this circuit do not accept or process it. Troubleshooting to this type of fault, is skilled one. Contact any service technician, or the service center.

If the problem noticed when you use the front panel buttons, you have to replace all the tiny switches at a stretch. Due to contact problem the resistance will vary time to time. Hence you will get crazy functions. better replace all the button switches of this type. These are all interlinked.
Sounds like one of the front panel buttons is stuck in - possibly the volume down button.
If no buttons work, this could be the reason why.
Just a guess.
If they all feel OK, it may still be worth pulling the back off, (Without electricuting yourself -DISCONNECT POWER!) remove the PCB board that has the buttons on it, and see if it turns on without the menu. If so, check all buttons, rare but I have seen one that looked fine but with a multimeter it showed it wasnt working. If the screen still displays the menu, Id say there is a bigger problem...
