Question about Panasonic SA-HE200 Receiver

Open Question

Overload signal recently began to occur randomly on my home stereo receiver

I have my flat screen Samsung LED TV, a 5 changer DVD/CD, a blue ray disc player and an HD Direct TV receiver hooked up w/2 Cerwin Vega floor speakers and an MTX subwoofer hooked up to it. It has worked fine for a couple of months and just this past week it will randomly shut down my stereo w/the read-out "Overload". It will work the next day - and sometimes work the entire evening - while other times the "overload" error message and power down will occur.

SOURCE: "No Disc" error message

remove the cover of the unit and try to clean the lens with a soft clean dry cotton swab or if you have a compress air cleaner, just blow it. most of the time cleaning can solved this kind of problem. good luck!

SOURCE: overload, switch off

I was able to fix this problem by replacing a fuse. Remove the cover (7 screws). Directly behind the fan are 2 boards with 5 fuses on them. The boards are 1 over the other. The fuse I replaced was labeled F5 and on the top board with the fuse facing down on the underside of the board. This also fixes the error code F70. The fuse is 8 amp, 125 volt and not available at Radio Shack.

Connecting my new samsung blu-ray player (bd-fm57c) to my toshiba theaterview tv.

I don't think that cord will work. HDMI carries video and audio signals, you might get video but probably no sound. You might as well try anyway though so here goes... The red green and blue plugs are your video and the other red plug and the white plug is for stereo sound. The yellow plug is just a lower quality video plug. So plug in the red blue and green plugs into the component video inputs on the TV then the red and white plugs into the audio inputs. DON'T plug in the yellow plug. If this doesn't work go to your local home theater store and ask for a receiver or switcher that will downscale high def HDMI to component video and stereo audio. You can probably pick up a cheap one for around $100. Good luck!

I am trying to hook up my Pioneer vsx-455 to a LG LED LCD TV. I am not sure on how to do this and I can not find a manual anywhere. Can you help me?

your reciever does not have hdmi, so the audio is not going to be true DD+ or DTS for broadcast tv.

if your dvd/blue ray player has digital optical spdif, this can be used to transfer the encoded DD+/DTS digital audio.

the besat way to run your tv audio through the reciever is to hook up the dvd/blue ray player up with (perferrably) digital optical spdif, composite spdif or (least favorably) through the stereo stereo analog inputs on the reciever for "dvd" audio in and hook the video from the dvd/blue ray up to the corresponding "dvd" video component input on the reciever.

this way is only going to get your dvd/blue ray sound, next you need to hook up your cable box to the reciever so that you can get broadcast tv sound. hook up the cable box audio to the "tv" stereo analog audio ins, and hook the video to the corresponding "tv" video component inputs.

the component video inputs have separate jacks for red, green and blue ( labeled "Y" "Pb" and "Pr") and are capable of carrying a 1080p full hd signal. use the component video outputs on the reciever to output the video signal to a component video input on the tv, using the receiver's input selector to change the video source.

Hi, Ive tried to set up my samsung blue ray

It seems as though the HT works fine, so to get the TV itself to play through the HT setup, take the audio out from the TV and hook it up to a separate channel on the HT receiver. Turn on TV and receiver and put the receiver on the respective channel of the receiver. I hope this helps.
