Why dont you people read the user's manual? You wil learn abt your machine, to a certain extent. Try "dry" & "spin" together for a few seconds. This is the child lock display.

Or press "end of cycle" for over 5 seconds. Works for other machines...............And please rate me if helped................

SOURCE: CL error message

That means that your washing machines child lock is on. You can find two buttons Temp and Options in the panel. Turn the machine on, press these two buttons together for 3 seconds and thats should be it.

DLG2351r model LG front load dryer wont start also says CL

It seems as though your machine's door switch is faulty as the machine will not start if this switch does not operate properly.
The reason that I suspect the door switch is because the CL error code stands for "child lock".
Check the door switch for continuity and condition, replace if faulty.

What is the error code CL mean for LG WM1285FHD

LG washing machines indicating error code CL may have the child lock activated.

Try holding down the temperature and eco/rapid options together to turn off child lock.

Some LG series use "TEMP and OPTION" at the same time.

Thanks

Washing machine is showing error code CL

It is possible that the machine does not start off the cycle because there are errors due to feedback from the inputs. For the program to start up the main program controller must initiate the INLET/MOTOR/DRAIN pump/ valve to open up and allow each function to be driven starting from the flow of water into the drum as also the drain valve to open to exit the water at the point of the program cycle. If this does not happen then the voltage at the valve/motor/pump must be checked or the fault relates to no voltage from the controller. The fault specified seems an over load or over current in the motor. So remove motor and check to confirm.Make sure there is no jamming of the aggitator or the drive, and too much of load. Power off and reset.

Cl is showing on display and machine wont work

Press "end of cycle". Plug off the wall. Code can be an indication of several issues. The most common cause is over-sudsing in the machine. Overloading the wash with too much laundry may also cause the LE error code. Lastly, a breakdown in the signal between the microprocessor and the motor may cause that error code. This can occur if there is a loose wire, see that all wires are tightened..........
