Broken weld on cross bar of frame on Reebok jogging stroller

This is a beautiful stroller that is no longer usable because the weld broke on the bar that connects the two wheels. I was told not many people will weld aluminum. This was an expensive stroller with a big name and I don't think it's good advertising for Reebok to have their stroller frames just snap off and then have no one to fix/replace them. Is there someone I can bring it to have it replaced/repaired? It's only a few years old and lightly used.

Ours broke at the same weld. My wife loves it, but to expensive to get it welded and have it break again. So I put it back together with a few metal brackets and it only lasted another couple of weeks before the metal fatigued at one of the drilled holes and it is now officially a pile of scrap. I talked with another couple who had the same problem. They payed the money to have it welded, and it indeed broke again. Apparently Reebok got the price and weight of the jogger down by making it out of tin foil. Boo on them. They should be replacing all of our joggers for free. I'm sure they are aware of the problem. This is why I run in Brooks' shoes!

SOURCE: fold stroller

Not sure how different this one is to ours but we have an older Dreamer Design double stroller and down by the front wheel there are two black plastic clips that you pull upwards while at the same time pushing two small depressable "buttons" that are in line with the main bars coming down towards the front wheel... once that's done you lift and push backwards at the same time, the whole stroller frame will move backwards (oh brake has to be on) and then once those main bars are free you can pull the frame towards you and then double it over back on itself...the rear wheels pull out by pushing the centre button and pulling on the wheel and they you're able to put it just about anywhere...hope that helps...Rob

SOURCE: My jeep jogging stroller has a flat. Do I need to

Replacement tube may be more beneficial even though the fix/patch may be cheaper. If you live in an area that have varying climate, the patch along with the repaired tube can expand and contract and may cause small leak if not repaired properly.

Otherwise I would get the right size tube, most jogging strollers are either 12" or 16" tube inside and can be bought from your local bicycle store. With that, you'll need bicycle tire levers which can also be bought at the bike shop. Just about any type of tire levers will do. Of course I'm sure your bike shop can do this for you to possibly for free with a purchase of replacement tube!

I just had the same problem. Mine has two red brackets on either side up near the handle. You pull them up toward you and it should collapse.

Rear makes noise

If the little piece that is welded to the frame broke off from the frame, find a welder and have them weld them back up, shouldn't cost very much at all for a 10 minute job. However if the whole piece is broken, get a new one and have a welder weld it back up, cost a little more.

I have a reebok cross trainer whichich I bought in 2005..never had problems with it then over the weekend it started 'wobbling'.This got worse the faster I went and now it is unstaedy even if I try to get...

I think you will find that the welding where the tubular support post is attached to the box section of the main frame has broken and the box section has bent allowing it to rest on the floor causing the machine to wobble during use. Reebok technical support will offer no solution as they say that it is due to excessive user weight and usage.
I am presently trying to prove that the problem is due to poor welding and quality control as the main frame is not a replaceable part although it is listed as part 27 in the parts list and exploded diagram.
You would have thought a major company like Reebok would offer a solution to the obvious build quality of this machine!

I have a problem with my rear wheel. I lost the black round support that goes between the shaft and the wheel. Maybe we can make one good stroller out of two of these. email me at if you can sell me the support or if you want to purchase the wheel.

Single axel for Bell jogging stroller

good luck finding one. Mine also broke and I called Bell to see if they have these poarts available. As the stroller is no longer in production, they have no parts available. I found a used one in a Goodwill-type store and am currently using it for spare parts.
