Without changing the CPU and updating the motherboard firmware I don't even know if you can do that as it depends which chip is fitted and how old the firmware is.

If you look down to the bottom right hand side of your screen you should see something that looks like a tv screen or something that says network internet access
take your mouse over to it and click on it to open the box
If your wirless switch is enabled it should show you that you are or are not connected to any particular network or router
If your wireless switch is not enabled please look through your user manual to find which keys to use to enable it
then in that network box please look for the name of your router or network then click on it then go down to connect
If it does not connect automaticly it will ask you for a password
so then you will have to enter the password that you have given it or look at the base of the router as the password may be the one that is written on it
if it still will not connect please go back up to the network that shows the name of your router/network and go to the left side and click on manage wireless networks delete the network that has your name or routers name theen close that box
then wait a few seconds and windows should pop up a box telling you that wireless network are available please click here
so go back to the network box go up to the name of your network/router that windows have found again
click on it and go down again to click connect and once again if it does not connect within a few mins you may have to enter the password that either you gave it or the no
written on the base of the router
if this does not work then you may have to reset your router
to do this you must use a ethernet cable plugged into the router and your laptop
then hopefully you will have a router user book to tell you what ip you need to type into your browser to enter the router to reset it
some router ip address are 192.168.2.1 or 192.168.1.1
if you cannot find the ip address of the router can you ask a friend to look it up on their internet
hope this has helped you
many thanks for using fixya
and we hope fixya has fixed it for yeh
