a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I can't get connected to Netflix. All that pops up is error code 209826

Error code 209826. Is this with a Wii? Error code references "Problem connecting to the Wii Shop channel. Either a problem with the router or the Wii Shop may be temporarily
down. Try again later."

I recommend turning off the Wii completely. Check the wireless router and unplug the router, but do not disconnect the cable. Keep powered off for 5 minutes. Plug router back in, let all the lights power up and then turn the Wii on and attempt to connect again. Should the issue continue, you may need to go through the Wii network set up and verify that it is communicating with the router.

My wii wont let me update my netflix. It gives an error code of 204038. And in the wii shop channel it says updated, but if I try and go into netflix it says I need to update and I've tried multiple t

Your error code suggests that you are having communications issues the Wii shop channel.

Is there any chance you have recently moved the system or the wireless router in such a manner that might have increased interference between the two? Have you switched to a different wireless router?

Since wireless is a radio signal it communicates by sending separate packets in between the breaks. This could be causing the operation to time out on you. If there is a great deal of interference that now exists between the two you could bring the Wii closer to the router just for the purposes of the update. This of course assumes you have the ability to place a television near the router as well.

One thing to bear in mind here; if it is in fact timing-out on you, your Netflix streaming experience will likely suffer as well once you have successfully updated. In that case I recommend acquiring a wireless broadcasting powerline adapter or an access point (the powerline adapter will likely be cheaper).

I accidentally deleted netflix from my wii, and cant find it anywhere, how do i get it back?

You need to re-download it through the Wii Shop Channel. Go to the Wii Shop Channel from your home screen with all the channels on it (it has a shopping cart icon probably). Click on "Start Shopping", then "Wii Channels", then scroll up or down until you can find Netflix, click it. Download it to your wii. When it's done, it will show up on the home screen, and you can log into your netflix account.

There is a somewhat crappy youtube video showing how to do it:

Error 209600 downloading internet channel on wii

Error 209600 occurs when your Wii times out while trying to connect to the Nintendo Wi-Fi servers. This could mean the Nintendo servers are experiencing high traffic, and that you should try again later, or that your bandwidth is too low. The Nintendo Wii does not work properly with anything lower than broadband connections, such as high speed cable or DSL.

I keep getting an error Code: 209600. what can I do about this?

Hey there mtally. Wii error code 209600 is usually a failed connection to your wired router. Try switching the channel of your router to either channel 1 or channel 11.
Have fun :)

Nintendo has a pretty thorough troubleshooting website in place. Your specific error code led to this.

Once you fix your internet connection issue, Netflix has a channel that can be downloaded via the Wii Shop Channel. Assuming you have a Netflix account, you'll be able to stream movies through your Wii using this channel.
