hi
the cable beside the connector that goes in to the pc has through time became twisted and i think some of the wires inside the cable may be snapped, i would like to know if there is any way to fix this problem, or do i have to buy a new cable

- i had thought of that but it is to close to the connector to find them, i don't think i could do a continuity test either, just in case there is more than 1 wire snapped, i think i'll look for a pdf on the wiring diagramthank you for your suggestions

yes if you can solder then cut the cable and solder the 15 pin vga connecter first test the continuty between the connecter and opposite end write it on paper then according to that solder all wires but better to buy new cable for long time
