When you get that kind of information those are instructions to the printer. It has been my experience that the drivers loaded for the printer are not the correct ones. Check to make sure that you have the drivers for a HP 5P printer and verify that is what kind a printer you have.

Pages print but are totally blank.
  • The sealing tape might still be in the
    print cartridges.
Solution "Verify that the sealing tape has been
completely removed from the print
cartridges."

  • The document might contain blank
    pages.
Solution "Check the document that you are
printing to see if content appears on all
of the pages."
  • The device might be malfunctioning.
Solution "To check the device, print a

LaerJet 5p Extra page prints with code

check all your application.(word, Excel) by going into print preview, you might have a single black page at the begining. ( this happens when you save the templete with a blank page.)

if that is not, let me know. got to go one step at atime.

HP IIIp prints extra blank pages

HI there make sure that the paper tray guides are fully against the paper also try sending the job through the manual feed to see if you get the same problem. If you do not then it maybe that the paper cassette separation pad is worn and will need replacing. If your model has no rubber pad at the front of the cassette then you will have a metal hold over one corner of the paper make sure that when the paper lifts that the paper sits under the silver (Dog Ear) as this acts as a separator.

Hope this helps
Thanks J
