Question about Car Audio & Video
Hi: I have an old Pioneer KEH-P3730R in a 99 BMW 323SI that has a removeable faceplate. How do I get it out? It has no flaps hiding little 5 point screws. It does have 1/2 inch slits on either side where it looks like some long thin tool would go. It also has some little screws bedhide the faceplate but I think this is radio related not removel related.Help!
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

I had the same problem and I was lookin on a forum/blog on how to do this, but not many helped.I'm about to attempt to change my faceplate and I noticed when you take the battery cover off, there are 4 screws under the cover, and one near the antenna. You probably have to take apart the back part of the phone to get to the screws that are attatched to the sliding part of the phone. Its probably a little risky and tricky, but Im guessing thats how you get to the 2 hidden screws.

SOURCE: Remove Pioneer radio from dash

If the facia comes off, remove it and you should see two vertical slots. Insert the keys and pull out the unit. Disconnect the plugs for speakers power and ariel.

yes try that. I had a Isuzu Bighorn and put a new Sony CD player in, but i used the old casing to fit the new one. so you could try using the old casing, or buy a new one.
