Question about Toshiba CZ27V51 27" TV
When I push the button to turn on my TV, the red LED light flashes off and on. The TV does not come up. But when I turn it off the screen fades from black to a small dim light quickly as though its been on. There is no sound so I think it may not actually come on. Do anyone now what is happening with the TV?
Switch it off en unplug it aftr one hour switch it back

Unplugging it seems to have done the trick. Thanks for this site!

I just called a Toshiba repair center this morning...they said it has something to do with the power supply, but can't be sure until they open it up and take a look. I was given a ballpark quote of $125 to fix. I'm taking it in on Saturday.

The same thing happened with my T.V. (although it is an RCA). The first time a repair man charged me $75.00 to fix. The next time we were told to just try unplugging it for a few minutes then plug back in...that worked. T.V. still sometimes does this, unplugging it fixes the problem

Is it hooked up to a vcr or dvd? it sounds like what mine does when i have it in Video 1 or Video 2 mode. keep changing the mode until it is back in TV mode.
