I purchased a automate 474K remote from Autozone and the instructions were to find a single button under the dash and set the new remote to the old settings. There is no single button, as far as I can see. But there is a large 2 x 3" wiring block where the antenae wire plugs into. There are many other wires also plugged into this "Automate" block. But no button.
What do I do ?

When I changed the car battery it will not start it turns over how do I reset a automate alarm

Looks like 2 questions in one here.... The lack of start is likely to be one of 2 things.
1 your battery terminals connectors are dirty or loose so you are not getting a good connection...take them off, use a dry sponge scoured to clean the connection surfaces on battery and inside surface of the connector.. Clean the threads on the tightening bolt too, so you can clamp it tight.. Reconnect using the right size spanner so it does not round off .

2 you may have tried to save money by buying the wrong battery....a4x4 pickup truck won't start using a battery designed for a Smart car..you need to check the Cold Crank Amps capability of the battery.... The bigger the vehicle, the higher that has to be... It does no harm to buy a battery with a higher CCA... If you can afford it.... Because the battery is stronger so starting is much easier on it...so it lasts longer if maintained.

3 to reset an automatic alarm, you either haveI', follow these steps...

Instructions
1
Place your key in your car's ignition and turn the key to the "On" position.

2
Press and hold the "Program" switch on your car's alarm transmitter. (Google to find where that is on your model)

3
Press any button on your car remote while you are holding the "Program" switch and release both buttons.

4
Press the "Program" switch on the alarm's transmitter once more and release it.

5
Remove the key from the ignition and press a button on your remote control to see if the programming worked.

What is the valet button located inside of glove compartment used for

It is used for programing the alarm, it is used to disarm the alarm without the remote, [in case remote is damaged] and it is used to put alarm system into valet mode, [service mode] valet mode is only really needed if the alarm has been programed for passive arming, [alarm arms itself].

Your main use for the valet switch, [if programed for active arming instead of passive arming] is to have a way to disarm the alarm if the remote does not work.

Only one of my my k-9 mundial keyless work the other seems fine but wont activate.

Try to reprogram the remotes to the alarm. Have your vehicle key and both remotes ready. The way to do this is as follows:

1. Turn ignition key to run position.
2. Within ten seconds push the valet button 5 times.
3. The siren will give a chirp, indicating that you are in programming mode.
4. Press the large button on the first remote. A chirp will be given as confirmation.
5. Press the large button on the second remote. A chirp will be given as confirmation.
6. Turn off ignition and remove key. Alarm will give long chirp indicating exiting program.
7. Try remotes. Both should be working.

For the next 48 hours, every time the vehicle is starting the siren will chirp indicating that remotes have been programmed. After 48 hours this feature will turn itself off. Also keep an eye on the alarm light as it will also blink the number of times as remotes are programmed every time the ignition is turn on.

Hope this information helps. Please rate. Thank you.

Someone programmed their remote into my Bulldog 2010 alarm brain and is deactivating my alarm and then vandalizing my car. How do I get rid of their programming instructions and neutralize their remote?

Your model will only keep 4 remotes in memory, so in order to deactivate there remote, you need to have your remote programmed 4 times into your unit

Need to pair the remote with the alarm on a DEI Python 990 car alarm

If you know where your Valet switch is, turn the ignition on, push and release the valet switch once, then push and hold it, you should hear the siren chirp once, then while still holding the valet switch, push the #1 button on the remote, you should hear the siren chirp again. it is now programed. If you have the package that came with the remote, it should have a table on the back that tells you how many pushes of the valet for which feature you want to program. Most remotes are one push for all features, some are 7 or 8 pushes. So if it say auto learn is 7, turn the key on, push it 7 times, the push it again and hold it, the push #1 button, and it's programed. Hope this helps. If all else fails, take it to your nearest best buy, if they charge you to program it, it won't be much.
