If your associate does not have the TurboCAD program then he cannot open your TurboCAD drawing.
If he has AutoCAD or MicroStation CAD program then if you can save your CAD drawing in DXF file format (data exchange file) then they can import your CAD drawing into their CAD program.
Alternately. if your associate only needs to view your CAD drawing you can save your CAD drawing as a PDF file, then your associate can view the CAD drawing with Acrobat Reader.

If autosaved is enabled in your CAD, then most likely you can recover a n sv$ file of it saved in a temp folders. You can rename this file and change the extension from .sv$ to .dwg.
