Worked fine last use. Will not start now. Checked all of the obvious fuse/breaker, door shut, turned on, etc.
I have Kenmore 90 series dryer. Was working fine yesterday. I did notice that the light inside the dry came on after about a year of it not working. when i put in the next load and hit start nothing? the switch clicked when i pushed it but nothing ells no humming or anything? could it be that the door switch has gone bad since the light just started working again? or is it the motor? I would think I would hear the motor try to work if it was going bad? Any help is welcome!!

A breaker thrown that many times indicates a serious electrical problem. You need to have the problem taken care of by an electrician. You should be worried about the safety of yourself and your family.
That being said, I would guess that breaker has gone bad and needs to be replaced.
check house fuse/circuit breaker door switch if an electric dryer the thermal fuse as they are often wired into the motor run circuit check for power to the motor in start and run circuit, if present motors spent. if not present trace back to timer and verify timer is sending power, if not timers spent. more likely circuit breaker, door switch or thermal fuse if electric dryer.. hope this helps, best of luck, ttfn
