Question about RIM BlackBerry Cell Phones
This is my 5th blackberry curve 3g since june and it's getting pretty annoying now, the phone screen will go completely white and reboot itself, then the middle button won't press in or scroll whatsoever. Sometimes when it does work it only pressers in and doesn't scroll atall. It's getting frustrating now, i want to know how to fix it by myself instead of constantly calling the company, please help, if any suggestions even if they're not certain to work, it'll help alot! Thanks.
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

well the phone is a really good phone, I would look at your provider.
on a regular day how long does your battery last? is it lasting less and less.
One of the nice things about the blackberry is you have the ability to reinstall the software if you need to.
so try what you can and if all else fails, do a reinstall of the software.
or download the desktop manager from blackberry.com and update your software.
maybe that will help.

this isn't a solution. i am having the EXACT same problem. nothing is working. it shuts off for no reason. i didn't touch anything. and it keeps typing "25252525252525252525525" or "ededededededededed" by itself, even though i didn't have any water damage. i cannot click the trackball either but it moves. and i have restarted it so many times, but it still won't work. i also need help.

This was a problem that perplexed me for a while too. Ultimately I learned that the curve has several different folders for different email addresses. This also includes a message folder for all messages. First go to the Home Screen and press the menu / Blackberry button. Select "Show All". Now scroll through until you see the offending folder indicating there is a message there. Delete that message and you should be back to normal. My problem had been a saved unread message in the saved messages folder that wasn't being displayed initially. That should take care of your problem!

I've had the same problem, particularly after upgrading the OS. I've been able to keep it reboot free for 24 hours after resending the service books from the bberry portal (and I'm even using it unlocked from T-Mobile on AT&T).

You should try these steps.
1) Backup contents of your phone like contacts, messages and other important stuffs
2) Format you phone (Hard Format)
3) Restore the contents.
Sometimes this happens due to unwanted change in system files or some kind of virus attack. Formatting your phone will improve you phone's performance also.
Give it a try
