-   my dz 1200,they get same problem i was livin in japan i bought there,,the problem at skip at some point when turtable mode ,,theres a sensor under plate,,and get a hard plastic this plastic get a curve like a bend..may be heat or hot weather.. u have to change this plastic or the intire rotation plate,,djlil23@yahoo.com -   djlil23

Have you tried cleaning it? Use a DVD/CD cleaning CD. If it still skips, take it to a service center for a professional cleaning and/or diagnosis.
