Question about Jenn-Air PRG3010 (NP) Gas Kitchen Range
Oven stopped heating all of a sudden. Broiler will not work either. The range still lights and works fine. Wondering if it's the oven's ignitor? When I turn the dial, I hear the click, but no heating. No brief light for ignition in the oven when I turn it on. No gas smell when turned on. Also heard noises (like a car with a muffler problem - a quiet put-put sound) for a couple of weeks beforehand when oven was heating.

hi, Could be a bad bake element or a bad temperature sensor. If the element will glow bright red/orange with no hotspots it is OK. Take a volt/ohm meter set for ohms and check the temp sensor. If less than 1050 ohms replace it.

Having a problem with the stove on this Jenn Air svd48600b.
Often with the oven warms up to 350F it starts beeping at and shuts off.
It flashes either just an FC error code, or FC and F5.
It is often possible to get the oven to work again if you wait 10-15min and cycle the power.
I imagine something is wrong with a heat sensor? The temperature sensor responsible for displaying temperature on the control panel seems fine though.
One other detail, even when the oven doesn't shut off at hot temperatures, the fan comes on (at around 220F) and stays on for over an hour after the oven is turned off.
Does anyone know if there is a different temperature sensor that might cause this? Is there a specific electronics board that may be leading to this problem.
when it heats up.

Hello - Most likely failed lower burner ignitor. Tests good if above 4ohms. Part is 40$. Can give replacement instructions if needed. Let me know if this helps. Thanks. -ED
