Toshiba 50HX81 50 in. Rear Projection Television

My TV will not come on but the power button blinks...

I have never had any problems with my TV it worked just fine and all of a sudden it won't turn on and the power button just blinks? I thought maybe the power went out or a fuse blew but after checking other electronics I realized it was just this TV. Is it worth it to get it repaired or just buy another TV?
I have the same problem.

Very interesting.
I have a Toshiba 53 H71. Same issue. It occurred to me after a move..
No one has offered any help on it. Posted about a week ago. Guess no one knows anything about these TV's....
