Make sure the condenser fan underneath the unit is running when the compressor is. I don't know what else it could be unless the door gaskets are in bad shape.

SOURCE: Need to replace door seal on Dometic NDR 1292

Many of the on-line appliance parts stores have manuals. Simply search for your model refrigerator, and they will show you exploded views of your refrigerator. You can pick the part you need and order it.

Just because the freezer is full of frost doesn't mean the door seal is bad. More likely, you have a problem with the defrost circuit. If you defrost the freezer, and it freezes up again within a short time, then the problem is in your defrost circuit. Those same on-line appliance parts stores can provide you with those parts as well.

I noticed you said you checked the fuses and they "looked" ok. Make sure you measure them with an ohmmeter, since I have seen them open up at the end of the filiment, and not be visibly open.
This web blog discusses this problem, and explains that it could be a bad control board:
I found a site that has the manual for this unit if you need one:
Good luck, hope this helps, and thanks for using FixYa.

Fridge will not switch from gas to electric when electric is present. Shut of gas and fridge still not switch, it stays on gas. Check light does not come on.

Check the fuses located in your electronic board located on the rear of the fridge. You must remove the board cover to see them. If you replace the fuse and the fuse blows again, then you more then likely have a bad heating element. ArctiCold Refrigeration We keep it cold fb8d9c00-4cdb-47b4-8ed5-b7b384af5c24.jpg

NDR 1292 - Was freezing/cooling on electric, but stopped freezingcooling, tried gas but doesn't freeze or cool

Since it does not work on either AC or gas - do you have DC to the unit? I have spent many hours troubleshooting a Dometic that turned out to be a corroded DC connection.
