Click start right click my computer go to properties and go under the hardware tab click on device manager look on the list you may see your sound card with a red X on it if so right click it and click enable if not you could try to right click it anyways and uninstall it and then restart and when u log back on it will say found new hardware and it should reinstall itself

Yeah, you have to re-install your audio drivers, I'm assuming you have a Audio Card installed or the one that come with the computer. Go to Control Panel and click on Audio, that should take you to device manager and you can reinstall your audio drivers. Good Luck.

Want to watch movies, etc. on my computer

You need software that can view them. A personal favorite of my is VLC Player. Just type that into Google and download the program. This free software will play nearly every format you can find.

You may also want to try GOM player if you don't like the VLC Player format.

I have quicktime player and I can't see the movie (I can only hear the sound) that has vlc mov codec and saved in quicktime program

I strongly recommend using VLC for watching any type of video. Programs like Quicktime player, windows media player etc often need codecs to play certain video types and formats like avi, flv etc. As for quicktime player, you propably need to download the proper codec for your movie format type

Sounds like you're lacking an audio codec, likely AC3 Try installing this one - http://www.free-codecs.com/download/AC3_Filter.htm

If not, you may want to try some other codecs or just use realplayer or vlc media player

Movie audio 'flutters/warbles'

Might be that cyberlink is the problem or the codec it uses. I would also recommend using VLC, and see if it has issues.

I like VLC, it will pretty much play any media file, and I do mean any media file. If window media player can not play a file, VLC should. And the best part, its free.

If its your codec, I prefer SLD Codec.
