Question about Heating & Cooling
Turbo 200? that must be a multi tap universal replacement capacitor, otherwise, your being teased, it would cause a high amp draw if not set/tuned to the appropriate MFd rating, you can actually tune a motor often by adding or subtracting a bit of MFD, we did this in school, often able to make the motor run a lower amp draw, or conversley make the amp draw rise if too low or high a MFD rating is used.Whats the amp draw on the unit during that minute? is it around the RLA?stated for the unit?Is the suction line (bigger one) cold or cool at all while the units running?is there any heat being rejected out the condenser? or just ambient in and out? What do the pressures read? what about superheat and subcooling ?these need to be known to do anything.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Cycle your breakers (turn fff and then on) Check that you are set to cool and not in the middle. You may have a service switch where you change the filter. That has to be on and finally check to make sure that the filter door is securly closed ( some units have a safty switch).

SOURCE: Goodman ck36 1b a/c. Capacitor
i installed a GTH 1348821 on a customers house 2008 It was installed incomplience with local codes and Goodman rrecommendations.I recieved a call stating the unit would not start I responded and found line voltage normal at 238 volts I checked my wire connections from contactor to capacitor to compressor all good shape. I ran a MFD check on capacitor and found a bad capacitor .I replace it and started and ran fine starting amps/RLA all within specifications. One month latter I had another capacitor failure, all operation specs look good. Any suggestions?

SOURCE: have a ck36-1b goodman ac
you need a 5/45 x 370 volt mfd capacitor. I just installed one in the same type of AC today. 5 mfd is for the fan moter and 45 mfd is for the compressor, the 370 is the voltage.
