Question about Tascam DR-1 MP3 Player
While recording using the built in mics, the rec light flashes and I get a 'writing failed' message 'press enter'.
Try using a smaller memory card. This only happens to me when using a 4- or 8-gig card. 2-gig and below, No error.

SOURCE: Tascam dr-1 recording problem
There is a "PB Control" button. I had the same problem. You've inadvertently told it to change the speed or something on playback. Make sure that none of the indicators at the top of the screen are active (i.e., white letters on black background). Press the PB Control button to toggle it on/off. Also, any files transferred to a computer will not be affected.
