Question about Atari 2600 Console
For instance, the pacman game board is dark purple and the ghosts are transparent as they float around. I've checked all my cables and they look fine. I am hooking it up to a 75in Sony projection t.v. Not sure if that makes a difference.
Well you could try cleaning the gamepacks out with qutips and rubbing alcohal
It could just be a glitch then.

Tips for a great answer:
You should be able to plug the Atari directly into the TV (If you have proper inputs available on your TV (you have not told us what make & model your TV is). BUT you can hook it up through your DVD/VCR if you want to. If you hook your Atari to your DVD/VCR you will have to power up the DVD/VCR whenever you want to play your games. The cool thing about running it through your DVD/VCR is that you can record toy game to prove to your friends what you have achieved.
