GOOD LUCK!! i am soooo frustrated with these little **** players. my old Discman is looking pretty good at this stage. at least it was straight forward!!.

I have an opal also and it sounds like yours is defective.You should try returneing it to the factory if it is still under warrenty.

It will support earlier Sandisk 1GB and 2GB micro SD cards

i had the same problem so i tried to hack it but theres no way of reseting the software take it back and request a new one this model has alot of issues in the start up menu.....hope this helps

Try to scan for viruses , if nothing happened , then try to update firmware !

Wont load past the "please wait" screen
Check to see if the player needs a firmware update or if there is a reset on it. Also try different USB ports on your PC to see if when you plug it in it recognizes the player and maybe needs firmware. If you have more trouble try the RCA website or call customer service. Good luck.

Help..
Just leave it until the battery runs out and it turns off by itself. Then plug it in and charge it. Once it's charged, turn it off. Then wait at least an hour before turning it back on.

Hello,
Try resetting the MP3 Player. Turn it on, connect to your computer, press and hold the play button for 10 seconds and disconnect from your computer. wait 5 seconds and connect back to your computer. When charging always leave the MP3 player in the on position.
