Here are a few things that I would check first off...
Check that air comes out of the tube to the pressure switch..(make sure it is not clogged with dirt or debris)
Check that the compressor is still able to build adequate pressure... air filter may be clogged...
Check that the pressure switch contacts are not welded together....
Check that pressure switch is not malfunctioning and that it can open the contacts if tripped manually...

Replace the pressure shut off switch.First drain the tank and shut off all power.Remove switch and inspect for any debri or water in the tube to the switch.
Also check the settings.max i think is 150psi.So it should fill to say 145 and shut off.

Before you change any parts, check that the pop valve is not faulty. Look closely at the pop valve to read set release pressure. If the valve is releasing before marked reading, replace valve instead to one slightly higher. The pressure may or may not be adjustable at the switch (need to replace the switch) depending on switch installed at the factory (parts list does not give enough information). If your switch has a remove-abel cap with adjustment screws/nuts, post again with model number of switch for info on adjustment. Good luck
