Did your computer come with recovery discs? the original operating systems and applications? if so, you can run the installation discs and bring it back to the original state.

SOURCE: how to reinstall the acer edata security data management.

To reboot the system click on Start and then on the shutdown menu choose restart or shutdown.
If this error happens with a bluescreen and white writing then you will have to press the power button for about 5 seconds to force it to shutdown.
To reinstall the eData software use the Acer software CD that came with your computer to reinstall it or download it from Acer :

Select it from the Empowering Technology and Utilities section.

Computer slow to start, open files, load web pages, slow shutting off.

try to delete large file or free space your disk , you can see your CPU proccess in task manager if your cpu work 100 % ,that makes your laptop become slow , try to disable program on start up windows->run->msconfig disable program and then try to maintain your laptop performance with utilities like advance system care or tune up utilities , defrag your harddisk , if your laptop still slow , try to reinstall your OS if this happen , then your hardware have trouble

My dell inspiron mini 10 notebook using window 7 pro..why it always hang when i opened many application..

The Dell mini computer runs on a Intel Atom processor and has just 1GB of RAM on it.. So the computer is designed only for internet surfing and launching small applications.. Thats the reason it is called as a netbook.. It comes with win starter edition... It is not highly recommended running a win 7 pro on this machine.. It can be really slow on this Operating system... Thats the reason your computer is slow.. Try to run inbuilt cleaning like disk clean up to see if there is any iimprovements in speed.. Else switch the Operating system to win XP or Win 7 Starter

Video slow on laptop, music stuter's I have a

Sounds like you have too many programs running at once, try to shut down programs that you are not using, this will open up more memory because video and music takes a lot of your 3mg memory. If it still does not work you will have to upgrade to higher memory. You must have 3GB memory, 3MB memory sound too small.

Slow

Try testing the system (if a Dell or HP, there will be diagnostics available in the BIOS or during boot up). If everything passes the diagnostics, then you can either provide more details on when its slow, how its slow, when it started being slow, what may have happened prior to it being slow (dropped, updates, new software, antivirus, etc.), OR back up all your software and files and use the PC Restore to reinstall/restore to factory condition.

CPU running slow - I think the pentium went into a slow mode when the CPU fan failed. Dell BIOS does not have an option to restore to normal speed as Phoenix BIOS does.

Do you ever get a warning of low virtual memory? If so, go to microsoft.com. Then type in yyour operating system. It will then give you the appropriate propram to clean it up.

Hi My Laptop is very slow in booting and

Try to run a diagnostic on the hardrive and memory. Dell has a built in diagnostic. to run the built in diagnotic, make sure the laptop is turned off. Hold Fn, then press power button. you will see the diagnostic screen. after running the diagnostic and you didn't see any errors, try to reinstall the Operating System. try to isolate the problem first before replacing the parts. if reinstalling the OS still makes the computer slow, better call Dell tech support.

COMP SLOW ALL THE SUDDEN!

I am no expert at vista yet but I can tell you that 2 gigs of RAM is not enough. You can disale some features in Vista, but it is a memory hog and you should probably be running about 4 gigs Ram.

Pc computer slow

By saying " installed new programs " what did you mean ?
Reinstalling XP after you upgraded ?

You might also try a driver update program such as driver detective. Or Manually update all the drivers. I doubt the motherboard is going bad making your pc run slow.

My system is not responding !

Could be any number of probems, and it would depend on exactly what type of system you have, (memory, cpu). Also, systems will have the tendency to slow down over time. It is good to reformat and reinstall the OS every few years or so, but depending on how much the computer gets used. Some times system slow downs can be as simple as installing a new program in a system. Some anti-virus software will bogg a system down because it uses so much resources. If your system is randomly slowing down, especially on start-up, I would suggest that you hit Control-Alt-Delete, and then see what process is running that is taking up most of you CPU resources during that moment. You can also go to Start-Run and then type in MSCONFIG and turn things off during start-up--but be careful. I turn off things that I don't need to constantly run, such as MS Office, and things that I am sure won't affect my system.

Windows XP SP2 Slow printer driver response

hey,

Well, maybe you already have tryed this: uninstall all printer drivers, and reinstalled xp sp2? Or other updates for your operating system.

Also check you system ressouces: RAM usage, cpu usage

On my new vista computer, system is a little slow in general , so if you run vista on a old computer, that might be the problem.
