Question about Duracell NiMH AA/AAA Battery Charger with 4 Rechargeable AA Batteries

Open Question

Duracell CEF26UK quick charger not charging

When I insert the AAA's the charger doesnt charge the batteries properly, I can use them for approx 5 mins before they die. Tha same with the AA batteries. Is this right?? I put the AA and the AAA in together (all 4) and the red light comes on. This is the only time it comes on. Do I have to charge the 4 batteries together or should the charger be able to cope with just charging 2 batteries??

SOURCE: My 15 min. Duracell charger keeps blinking-won't work...

When the duracell lights blink during charging, AT YOUR OWN RISK, try a reverse charge. Instead charging positive to positive and negative to negative, try positive to negative and negative to positive. I did this for 2 minutes. This solved the problem. After the 2 minutes, I gave the batteries a normal charge. You will have to force the battery and charger contacts to touch.

SOURCE: fuji battery charger BC-45 -

Ok all mine had the same problem however problem has been solved! The power cord that plugs into the charger is a common cord you may have laying around the house. I switched the power cord to my charger and the dreaded blinking stopped! Its just a bad power cord to the charging unit! Hope this helps!

When I insert some batteries the red light begins blinking. I also have some Duracells that appear to be charging but when I place them in the appliance they are dead.

All chargers cannot charge all types of batteries. Are your Duracell batteries NiMH or Alkaline? These indications generally happen when you insert a battery type that is not rechargeable.

HI I PROBABLY THREW OUT THE INSTRUCTIONS. SO HOW DO I KNOW WHEN THE CHARGER CEF 15NC HAS COMPLETED CHARGING THE BATTERIES?

gripfitter is incorrect, that charger is made to charge in 15 minutes. It has a cooling fan and when batteries are inserted a red light comes on and the fan starts. When light goes out and fan stops, the batteries are charged. (light should not blink as that indicates one or more of the batteries has a problem)
