Whats the best picture settings for my Panasonic tc-55as680u for gaming.

Picture lag is controlled by the refresh rate of the TV. This cannot be adjusted. The refresh rate of your TV is 60Hz.. A TV with 120 Hz or higher will be best for gaming.

Just bought an led tv .my wii was fine with tube tv now its controls are delayed.can it be fixed

The lag comes fr0m the digital picture processing.
Most televisions have a video game mode which can adjust the delay in rendering video from games. See if your television has a video game mode.
If not, a number of games that depends heavily on timing have a "Calibrate" mode to adjust to the delay on the TV. This is most common in rhythm games like Rock Band or Dance Dance Revolution. Look for the calibrate mode.
You can Google "Wii lag " for more info.

Xbox 360 games lag just on this t.v. Does not play games right.

Depending on your model, this is caused by visual post-processing which may introduce lag. Many LCD diplays have a "game mode" setting make sure this is on when playing your Xbox 360 through this LCD TV. Also, depending on your model of TV, there are motion enhancers (usually proprietary e.g. LG calls its TruMotion) which can also introduce lag; these should be turned off while playing. Another step that should be followed, is to turning off any set video setting in the Xbox's configuration (i.e. turning off any set video output such as 480p, 720p, 1080i, etc.) and setting it to "Optimal Resolution". This should allow for native video output instead of possibly upscaling which would in turn induce lag.
This should correct you lag issue for most common LCD TV's. Hope this was helpful. Thanks for visiting FixYa.com

PICTURE LAG WITH HDMI HOOKEP TO RCA 42'' L42FHD37

Check in your TV's settings for a selection called "Game mode" It will turn off the scaling chip in the TV(The PS3 will scale the image anyway) and remove the lag it was producing.

PS2 controller lag for rock band

On some home theater systems and TVs, there is a delay between what you press on the controller and what you see on screen.

There are three possible solutions:
1. In the options menu, you can "calibrate the lag". It may or may not work, but it will most likely reduce the lag.
2. If it's a HDTV, buy a PS3, with the PS3 version of the game, with PS3 controllers, and use a HDMI cable.
3. Play on a smaller, older SDTV (480i).

Lagging in Guitar Hero and now others

What kind of TV do you have? I've noticed that when I played GH 3 on my plasma TV it lagged until I calibrated it. You might need to change the TV scale to 480p since wii isn't high def. Hope this helps.

Time lag between Playstation 3 and LCD TV.

If your playing with lag on your new HD LCD your at a competitive disadvantage! Everything you see happens seconds later than your opponent who has his/her settings right.
The fix:
1. Connect your PS3 using HDMI Input 2.
2. SELECT or RENAME the HDMI Input to PC. Already pointed out, but this does not make the majority of tv's run in PC mode.
3. On the PS3 start-up menu go to Settings---> Display ---->
Choose HDMI ----> DO NOT choose AUTOMATIC ----> SELECT CUSTOM ----->
4. Now, Select all the Resolution options EXCEPT 720p. This will force your games into 1080p mode. What it will also do is drop any game that doesn't have 1080i/p support into 480. Games like Burnout Paradise, Vegas 2, Heavenly Sword, NHL 08 and more will be dropped into SD (480) rather than HD. Your picture will be terrible. 720p is standard gaming resolution currently, 1080i/p is not.
5. Save and complete the display setup.
6. Turn off the PS3. Turn off the TV.
7. Turn on the TV. Turn on the PS3.
8. Complete! (Lag eliminated). Please spread this around!

*The key to eliminating ALL LAG is modern LCD's need to be in PC MODE (NOT GAME MODE) On many tv's, PC mode requires you to use a VGA or DVI connector. You'll either need to buy an HDMI adapter or an HDMI to VGA / DVI cable if that's the case.
and the Source MUST BE IN 1080p so that the TV can use it's NATIVE RESOLUTION.* Please, check your tv's native resolution. If you have a plasma that only does 720p, your native resolution is probably 720p. You do not need to follow these steps, it will only make things worse. If your tv's native resolution is 720p, obviously you want to keep your display settings at 720p on your PS3. If your native resolution is 1080i, you shouldn't go selecting 1080p. If your native resolution is 1080p on your TV, you need to be aware that removing 720p as an option will force many games into 480.

Keep these things in mind and remember that the steps above are far from a cure all solution. .
