Question about Office Equipment & Supplies

The printer is not receiving the command from the printer

Yes, everything is plugged in. I sent my computer to a repair man for a problem with connecting to the internet & it came back unable to print. I receive signs telling me that there is no message going from the computer to the printer. I've gone thru the troubleshooting section on printers without any results. Help!

Plz try the printer in another pc, if the problem is not there then your pc is having problem, plz download the latest drivers and check, if the problem is not solved then try by changing the slot of the usb and try with another usb cable.

Yesterday I printed a page and could not print second page, so i shut everything down, this morning i turned on my computer and the printer started up & started printing & ran till out of paper....

Disconnect the printer power plug from the wall for 2 mins and plug it back in and turn the printer on and turn on your PC and see if that helps. The printer has a memory which stores information you may have sent to the printer. If you kept hitting the print button then it may have saved all those print commands in memory and it is printing that out. That is what happens most of the time at my office. So you need to erase the memory by turning off the printer from the wall. Hope this helps

I am having problem with sending commands to printer. i copy the commands in user manual on the "send printer command" section. But the printer no any response.

I would certainly check all data connections, if everything is ok, then make sure that the printer is in the correct setting for receiving this data

Hp officejet 6210 problem we are getting somewhere.

Check "Help" and "About Internet Explorer" You should see a big "7" as the version. If not then we can worry about that later. The solution I'm going to give relates only to "7".

Look on the right top of the IExplorer window. See the printer icon? click on the tiny black arrow next to it and pick "Page Setup" out of the list.

Click the "Printer..." button and make sure it has your printer listed. Then click on the "Properties" for your printer and find "black and white only" or "grayscale" then ok.

Try your print again from the Internet.

Another "gotcha" from hp. Some of their printers (evidently not this one) will refuse to print anything if one of the cartridges is missing or out of ink. You might just have to buy another color cartridge and everything will be fine. :)

Blue patch

you didn't state how many hours are on the unit, but I'm guessing close to 3,000 hours, that is when most brands have LCD panel failures, due to the heat over time the coating on the lcd panels burns off, the panels start to burn up, and it gets worse with time, and you notice it more when you put a fresh bright lamp in. if it is low hours then you could have a bad lamp, that casts a bad tint, but it sounds like fried LcD panels, a sure way to tell, is put up a white back-ground screen and see if you see discolored "BLOB" in the center of the screen.
keeping the filters clean, and the projector cool is the best way to prevent this.

Printing from Dos Prompt

1. Save your text file (.txt).

2. On the command prompt navigate to that directory

3.Type "Lpr -S -P lp text.txt"

Substitute for your copier's ip

Substitute text.txt to filename.

Or you can: to print from MS-DOS apps.

1. Share the printer on a networked windows computer. Make sure you make the name MS-DOS compatible.

2. At a DOS prompt, type the following command:
"net use lpt1: \\servername\printer_share/persistent:yes"

NOTE Servername=computer name

printer_share=printers share name
