Question about HP Pavilion dv7-1020us Notebook
Click start>Control Panel>Mouse
You will see a window of Mouse Properties. Click the last tab on the top which is "Device Settings"
Highlight the SYNAPTICS Touchpad and click SETTINGS
Select the VIRTUAL SCROLLING
You will find the options as "Vertical and Horizantal"
If they are unchecked that you need to check them.
If they are already checked, than uncheck them and Apply the settings.
Again open the same window and Check the two options and save the settings.
It should work now.
If this does no work that you will have to reinstall the Drivers for the Touchpad.

That didn't work on mine, I updated my drivers yesterday cause my touchpad on my Compaq presario v6000 went out and its not even listed I'm the device settings tab. The tab is there so I'm positive there's drivers and they're updaated, but my touchpad still doesn't work please help.
