Is oil pan "sump location" REAR or CENTER on Toyota Sienna 2010 XLE V6?

Usually Rear and Center sump locations are used in Street use (center location) rear use (racing). from what I can see with the stock replacement oil pans the one your looking at is either a higher capacity oil pan or one that can be used in racing as I don't see a configuration change in the stock model. if you are ordering from a reputable parts dealer I would call or email them just to be sure when placing your order.

How do i change the oil pump on a 2000 lexus es300

Drain oil from the oil pan and recycle. Remove bolts holding oil pan up and remove oil pan. Remove bolt holding oil pump in. Install new pump. Replace oil pan gasket if necessary. Reinstall oil pan. Reinstall drain plug and refill with oil. Start engine and watch oil pressure gauge or light. Oil pressure should be normal almost instantly. Check for oil leaks.

Sump leaking

-Drain the engine oil through the drain bolt located under the oil pan (sump).
-Preserve the used oil in a sealed canister to be disposed off later.
-Remove the oil pan bolts from all around and keep them in a tray.
-Oil pan is attached with a silicone sealant so it need a little practice to be separated from the cylinder block assembly. To remove it, tap it with a rubber, wooden or plastic hammer. If it is too hard to remove insert a thin wide chisel slowly from different places turn by turn but not damaging any of the surfaces.
-Finally insert a slightly thicker and strong wide chisel from the front side and force it slowly downward.
- Take out the oil pan carefully.
- Clean and wash it thoroughly with detergent and let it dry.
- Clean the lower surface of the cylinder block.
- Apply 3 to 4 mm thick layer of silicone sealant RTV-Grey to the oil pan mating surface.
- Hold the oil pan near the cylinder face not touching the cylinder face and center the pan by just tightening a few turns of oil pan bolt. Put another bolt on the opposite side. Screw in another bolt to the side of the pan and one more bolt to opposite the third bolt. Then screw in all the remaining bolts slightly.
- Seat in all the bolts and tight the bolts in many attempts.
- Make sure the silicone sealant flows out equally from all around the all pan.
- Wait about 1 hour to let the sealant dry.
- Install new oil filter.
- Pour new recommended engine oil and bring it to the upper level.
- Start the engine for ten seconds, switch it off and check the oil level again.
- The job is complete now.

brazed the threaded tab back in the pan

All you can do, is get under there & figure it out.

YOU NEED TO BUY CORRECT SIZE NEW OIL DRAIN PLUG. YOU TO KNOW YOUR THREAD SIZE ON NEW OIL DRAIN BECAUSE YOU NEED THE RIGHT TAP AND DRILL BIT TO CENTER DRILL THE BROKE BOLT IN SIDE OIL PAN YOU NEED A CENTER PUNCH TO PUNCH A SMALL ENOUGH TO START THE DRILL BIT DEAD CENTER OF BROKE BOLT.OIL PAN NEED TO BE REMOVED TO DRILL HOLE STRAIGHT.THIS IN NOT A EASY JOB.EITHER YOU REPAIR OR DAMAGED OIL PAN DRAIN PLUG HOLE. YOU DRILL BIT HAS TO STRAIGHT WHILE DRILLING HOLE DEAD CENTER OF BROKEN BOLT YOU NEED TO MEASURE LENGHT OF OIL DRAIN PLUG BOLT. THEN USE A PIECE TAPE ON DRILL BIT WRAP A PIECE TAPE AROUND DRILL BIT THE DEPT YOU NEED TO DRILL THROUGH BOLT. LIKE I SAY THIS JOB TAKE SKILL AND A STRAIGHT HAND. BECAREFUL WITH DRILL AND WEAR SAFETY GOGGLES. DONT DO THIS FIX IF YOU NOT SURE OF MECHANIC SKILLS YOU WILL EITHER DAMAGE THE OIL PAN OR FIX THE PROBLEM.

Removed oil pan bolts and it seems the trans axle housing is keeping the oil pan from coming off in the rear, do I need to unbolt the trans axle from the block to remove oil pan?

To get the oilpan off a 1994 Accord, you'll need to unbolt the downpipe from the header, unbolt the brace holding the downpipe to the block, and remove the exhaust hangers from near the PS rack. This will allow you do drop the downpipe out of the way to get a better view of what your doing. Plus it makes it nice when your putting the oil pan back up there. You'll also need to remove the center beam of the from subframe.

There is a plate at the bottom/side of the tranny, you'll need to remove that to get to a couple of the nuts on the oil pan. Maybe this is what you're referring to? You should be able to remove the nuts/bolts and drop the pan after that. Sometimes you'll need to tap the pan with a rubber mallet to break it loose from the block/gasket.

-----------
When reinstalling, put the 6 nuts finger tight first to hold the oil pan up, then install all the nuts and bolts starting from the middle of the oil pan going around in a clockwise rotation. Tighten the nuts and bolts in three steps, gradually working up to 10lb-ft. Do not over tighten as that can cause distortion of the gasket and cause leaking.

I have a 1993 Toyota Paseo, which I have been told is almost mechanically identical to the 1993 Tercel. I think I there is a leak in the seal of the oil pan. Please give me instructions for replacing the...

Are you sure have a leak,? you saw it? they usually don't leak only from the valve cover gasket.
If you see oil drip by the passenger side of the oil pan the leak could be the crankshaft seal.
if the oil is in the center of the engine rear main seal is the problem.
If al around the oil pan is wet with oil but the oil do not make it to the floor, then the person who is doing the oil changes is not cleaning properly.

On a 2002 isuzu trooper 3.5 V6 with auto and 4wheel drive do i need to remove engine to pull oil pan? i have a loud banging in motor and need to check crankshaft & bearings

Yes, you need to pull the engine to remove the oil pan. This requires that you remove the propeller shafts and the third cross member to slide the transmission toward the rear of the vehicle. I suggest you purchase a service manual before you start this process. More than likely the rod bearing for cylinder 1 has failed. This seems to be a common problem with later model 3.5L Trooper engines because the oil pump and oil gallery do not deliver oil as efficiently to the number 1 rod bearing.

Oil

Warm the engine to ensure maximum oil drainage. Steady the bike on a stand or secure jack, as close to level as possible. Ensure the availability of a pan that can contain at least three litres of oil, with enough extra room to lift and move the pan. Slide the catch pan under the center of the oil pan, and remove the large oil drain plug from the center of the oil pan. If the catch pan is large enough to reach the oil filter, loosen the filter at the same time to allow better flow. Once the oil has finished draining from the plug hole, replace the plug and torque to setting. Remove the oil filter. Apply a film of oil to the gasket of a new filter, and install the new filter as per the manufacturer recommend tightness as listed on the package. Remove the oil filler plug on the left side of the engine case and pour 3 litres of 10W40 or 20W50 (depending on climate). Replace the oil filler plug.
