Question about RIM Cell Phones
Blackberry style 9670 trackpad keeps freezing, wont scroll while other buttons work... what to do!? pulling battery sometimes helps, but this happens once every 2 days on average
Do you have an added Apps? One could be causing the problem.
The other reason could be the pad is getting wet or moisture on it. Also it is not required to press ******* the pad, maybe too much pressure. Also check sensitivity settings
Out of curiosity, have you tried a battery pull yet? While the phone is on, simply remove the battery, for good measure, wait a full minute, then reinsert the battery and wait for the device to reboot.
Does that help? If not, let us know what operating system you're running on your phone. You can get this info under Options > Device > About Device Versions, or by typing "myver" in a text box (e.g. email or BBM).

SOURCE: blackberry 8250 trackpad frozen
On the application Blackberry App world download QuickPull free, then set it to reboot often to free up your MB. This should reduce the number of times it freezes :)

SOURCE: my blackberry trackpad is not
go to the blackberry website and get a phone number. Phone them up and ask if they know how to fix it and if they replace trackpads for your model. If that doesn't work search around on the internet, many sites will offer mobile parts quite cheap

SOURCE: My trackpad on my blackberry
Try this, Place some cloth, or a glove on your finger and see if the track pad detects your finger.
If it does response then the problem is with the track pad sensibility.
If it does You will have to adjust the sensibility and/or clean the track pad from any dirt.
If that doesn't solve your problem, you have a damaged track pad that needs to be replaced.
Let me know if you need further assistance on disassembling the curve and replacing the track pad or with any other question you have.
