SOURCE: HOW TO INSTALL

I would say look for a custom box off ebay or build one behind rear seat. Im not shure if you can fit a small truck box behind there but you may be able to. It would sound pretty good behind rear seat. Hope this helps

SOURCE: i have a pyle blue wave 12inch 800w subwoofer for a car hook up?

that just means it is dual channel.

if you have a stereo amp just run the left wire to one terminal and the right wire to the other terminal.

if your amp is mono run the wires to the first terminal and then from there to the second set of terminals.

PLEASE NOTE that by doing that you are bridging the speaker if the speaker was 4ohms to start with you just dropped it to 2 ohms so make sure your amp can handle that.

On my pd3000a receiver I have two subwoofer rca jacks but I have a sub volume control so can I still hook up pqa4100 poweramp this is all pyle equipment, please give detailed answer

First, I'm not a Pyle tech. But back in the day I used to be an audio freak (1970's 4 channel all-the-way!)
* I tried to get the exact specs on your receiver but I suspect it's a non-amplified output. RCA jacks almost never have a high level output. (yes, the old 1940-60's used RCA jacks for speaker high level output. But you have a late model receiver.) Most likely you need a separate amp to power the sub woofer (unless it has it's own power amps.) You may still use another audio amplifier if you have a spare (mono or stereo won't mater as you only use one channel) but be aware that low frequency use way more power than normal frequencies (600 to 3KHz) The low end (50 to 300 Hz) will burn out any speaker and amp as the lower the frequency it's like hooking up a car battery directly to the speaker! If you have an old style vinyl record player that's playing a warped record. watch the speaker flap around to the wave of the record. Need to turn on the 50 Hz cancel out button to prevent speaker blowout!
* This link is still for a powered woofer. It looks like the same PD3000 receiver as yours though I can't be sure:

* This is an external "Powered" sub woofer (powered amp and additional cross over "filter" to extract just the lower frequencies. The following you tube link is a detailed example of how this type of system works:

Have jvc rx-2020v receiver with mono rca out for sub and trying to hook it up with polk audio rm 1000 w sub woofer with +/- terminals for both left ane right channels plus blue terminal(?). How to?

Your Polk Audio subwoofer is a passive sub and your JVC mono output is for connection to a powered sub. If the JVC does not have an amplified output for a passive sub, you'll either need to get an amplified sub, a different receiver, or buy a dedicated mono subwoofer amplifier.

How do i connect a sub wooferto my reciever

I own 2 of these Pioneer VSX-D903S units.

The only way to hook a powered subwoofer up to a VSX-D903S is if your subwoofer is equipped with amplified/speaker level terminals on the back, in addition to the line-level input. If you only have a line-level input, do not attempt to hook it up to this receiver.

If you're lucky, and have speaker-level inputs on your powered subwoofer, you would use the amplified terminals (connect to B-channel on the receiver). DO NOT connect anything to the line-level connection.

Alternatively, you could build two unpowered subwoofers, then set the receiver's Impedance switch to LOW, then connect one enclosure to each of the "B-channel" outputs. Connect your regular left and right speakers to their corresponding "A-channel" outputs. [Impedance range: 4 Ohm minimum, 16 Ohm Maximum]

Pyle PLTAB8 Car Component System, Lights will not turn off. Help

Sounds like he did not wire a remote line from your radio to the amplifier, if he put a 12v from the battery to the amp and the remote spot on the amp then it will not turn off, you will need to either wore a toggle switch to the remote so you can turn it off manually or check the back of your radio for a remote line or splice a remote line from the accessory power supply on your radio so the amp will turn on when the radio is on

Audio Out Fixed/Variable

Is your subwoofer amplified or passive?

You clearly understand that you need to use a variable line out to control the subwoofer volume via the TV. As the setup seems reasonable, I'm wondering if the subwoofer is getting a signal, but that it is at line-level and not internally amplified by the subwoofer speaker. Generally, if the subwoofer must be plugged into an AC socket in the wall, it has an internal amplifier and can be fed line-level audio. If it is "passive", it has no amplifier, and it must receive an amplified signal (over speaker wire) from an amplifier (or integrated receiver). TV's don't generally have connections to send out an amplified signal.

If the subwoofer is indeed amplified, then this is obviously not the problem, but it's the first thing to verify given the information provided.
