SOURCE: Print Unable 34

There might be some paper left in the machine. Check the very edges espacially the left side (seeing from the front).

Another reason could be that the encoder strip isn t in right position or is stained from ink.

Anyway try the first solution first.

If you stll have trouble try to open the printer:

and have a close look to the encoder strip + disc (and look out for some paper in the edges... ;-))

Unable to print 34 (what is it and how to correct)

This means there may be a paper or object like a paper clip inside the printer. Have you just had a paper jam?
Open the unit and inspect for paper or an object.
Follow the directions in the manual regarding saving any unprinted faxes, then disconnect power for ten seconds. Plug the unit back in. It should be working.

Unable to Print code 34

Check that there is no paper jammed up on each side of where the print head travels.
Easiest way to do this is to power off/on. While the machine is going through its initial startup listen for when the print head travels along its carriage (from right to left). When you hear it, immediately switch off the power.
Open the main body of the printer and hopefully the print head will be stopped midway, you can then check at each end for any jammed paper.
If this does not solve issue, it will require an engineer.

Unable to operate printer when i try it show the message unable print 34

based on research.. Looks like this happens when it's starting up. it goes a short distance and then jams up.

See what could be jamming up the cartridge.

Do you have any specific model information?
