SOURCE: my t.v flashes a blue bar with LNB PS on it what

I'm guessing that you have a satellite feed of some sorts as that message says that the front end of the system has a power supply problem. Check all connection and modules for proper installation.

For sure your TV. But you still have to replace your Antenna Cable, if not the LNB as well. The LNB is the "EYE" in front of the Dish. You do not have to replace the Dish.

Even Transponderds Zero

Typically that indicates a bad LNB or connection to the LNB. Try moving the line to one of the other three ports on the LNB and if that doesn't work then you will need to replace it

We have an old dish network dish and LNB with a new dishnetwork receiver. When we can get the signal up to 5, the screen goes blank and we cannot lock the signal in. Diagnostics state there is no...

Hi mfpayton with the install of the brand new receiver wealways want to make sure all connections are tight. And after all connectionsare hand tight we will need to run the Check Switch Test. It will provide thestrongest signal to your home and you will see the signal move up into the 65percent range. If after the Check Switch Test it still is a low signal we mayneed to check the connections from the Dish and LNB that is an issue we wouldneed to come out on. I will leave the link to show you how to do the CST.http://www.dishnetwork.com/SupportSection/complete-sig-loss

Changed from single to twin LNB, no signal

HELLO

Here is a suggestion! Try SKEWING the LNB around a few degrees. Looking at the front of the dish, turn your LNB to the LEFT slightly (that is anti-clockwise).

Sometimes it's the little things that matter most where installation is concerned. It is also possible that due to the weight of the new LNB, the alignment may be out.

I have an exisitng sat that works fine. I bought a 2nd receiver,a dual lnb and a multi switch.Where exactly is the dual lnb installed?

The Dual LNB goes at the Antenna, it "Replaces" the existing one. It Must be aligned EXACTLY right, NOTE the "OLD" ones Placement. the "Switch" wich is a sort of two in One, goes as close to that as practicable... to the Dual LNB, Then through software when setting up you select the "Switch" and then you can control access to either sat. It is a bit of a "Mission" sometimes.. You will have to be very methodical and check all connections etc. I include a link that will help you. http://www.satcure.co.uk/tech/lnb.htm

How do i fit a dual LNB so i can change channels

HELLO
A word of warning! Do not attempt to split any feed coming from a single output LNB to another satellite box - you will be asking for trouble!
Now for the solution. If you are using a standard sky minidish you will need a 40mm adaptor kit, a dual output LNB and another length of satellite cable (Webro WF100 prefereably) but I suppose RG-6 will do the job providing it is not too long (around 10-15 meters or so) a couple of F connectors and self-amalgamating rubber tape.
Power off everything! Remove the old LNB and to do this you'll notice a plastic rivet on the LNB arm of the dish which must be removed. When you have done that and the new LNB is place (don't tighten everything yet), connect your current length of cable to one output and the new length to the other (finger tight should be fine) and make sure BOTH of your boxes are connected. Remember to waterproof those LNB connections.
Power on! You should be getting pictures - if not the LNB will need skewing round a bit. Look at the dish from the front and turn the LNB in a clockwise position say the 2 o'clock position - that should do the trick. Then tighten everything.
I wish you well with it - good luck! (:-)
