Either a problem with your ink, inkjet nozzles, or really bad filter on your photo program.... Try cleaning the nozzles first (print a test page and check the lines), then clean the heads a couple times, print test page again. (Control Panel, Printers/Faxes, Right Click on your printer, you'll have some option for cleaning/testing.)

My Kodak esp 5 printer prints the pictures with a pinkish Blue color. I replaced my 2 year old one with a new one and the problem still is there. How can I fix this?

It sounds as if the pictures are stored that way, especially if you've changed printers. Try downloading a color document and printing it. Do you get the same result? Also did you reload the software when you set up the new one? It's always good to delete the existing driver and start with a new one.

Perform a "clean cartridge" routine in the printer properties. It might be dried out at the head.

The picture on my monitor is true color but when i print the picture it has a pinkish tint on them. What is the solution. my cp8000 and 9800 do the same thing.

That is a problem with the Cartridges. Either they have run out of ink, or the type you purchased is poor, so try to check on them.

When i print a black and white picture from computer it prints pinkish

Have you checked your ink levels? There is a low ink utility with HP printers that should read the ink level of the Black or Grey cartridge.
If the levels are up, then run the maintenance and nozzle check for this printer through the Print menu.

When printing pictures, they are discolored

You are running low on your color ink cartridge. It cannot mix the primary colors right anymore and the color images start getting a pink-purple tinge to them. Get a new set of cartidges and install them and this should fix the problem fine. Hope this helps.

Scanned pictures are printing with different colors

Are the ink cartridges refilled or compatible? They may be defective.
Are they installed correctly (not in the wrong slots)?
** Note that even if they are replaced it will take SEVERAL pages before the quality returns
