Question about Canon MP280 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Error is on every time i try to executes print head alignement presing stop/reset button error dissapear for the moment and is on again if i try to print

I think this may work.
Reset Waste Ink
1) Enter SERVICE MODE.
By pressing Menu, Copy, Scan, Copy, Copy
2) Select TEST MODE.
3) Select  PRINTER TEST in TEST MODE.
4) Select 3. [EEPROM CLEAR].
5) Select 0. [INK COUNT].
6) Press the [Set] key.
7) Press the [Stop/Reset] key (returning to the state of 3)), and then press the [ON/OFF] key.

If you resently changed out your inks, it doesn't recognize the new ones... try removing and re-installing them, I got the black to recognize after three attempts but am stuck with the color...

SOURCE: Color is off...too much red
Your color profile is off
Click on start / printer and faxes
right click on your printer and select properties
click on the color management tabe and selct another color profile
If that dont work
in the printing preferences (propteries) adjust the amout of maganta(red) down a bit to compensate for the rest..
but the problem is your color profile

hi try to install a new driver from here http://support-my.canon-asia.com/EN/search?canonsearch=1&lang=EN&category=Multifunctional+Printers&series=PIXMA&model=PIXMA+MP160&menu=Download otherwise ur error code means The ink cartridges are not installed or a non-supported ink cartridge is installed, or the ink cartridges are not installed properly. Install cartridges properly. so try to clean the cartridge pinout well by using Acetone or something like that also try to clean the pinout of the cartidge mount inside the printer when it's power is off.
