Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: Everytime I plug my Sansa e250 in it freezes

You can press and hold the power/menu button for 20 seconds. This will force the player to shut off. Restart it, if you are still having problems, try the following. Run the recovery tool from the SanDisk website. Make sure you select "format" when prompted. http://www.sandisk.com/Assets/File/Downloads/firmware/e200fw01.00.12.exe You need to put the device into "recovery mode" before you run the tool. - Turn the device off (hold power for 20 seconds) - Slide the hold switch into "hold" position. - Press and hold the "record" button while connecting it to your computer. Keep holding the "record" button until you see the "new hardware found" on your computer. Then run the recovery tool. Select format when prompted. Best of Luck.

SOURCE: How do you unlock a sansa m250 mp3 player

OK, I don't mean to be obvious, but on the bottom of the device (as you're looking at the screen), there's a switch that locks it. If you can see the red, it's locked -- if you slide it over, it unlocks. Again, you may have tried that, but since it says "Hold" and not "Lock" under the switch, it's not entirely obvious. Hope that helps?

SOURCE: I have a Riptunes mp3

I'm having the same problem. My problem is that the music files that I just purchased off of itunes are MP4 files and cannot be played on this Riptunes MP3 player. I bought this for my 6 year old nephew for christmas and I wanted to have some music on there for him. I'm thinking i should have investigated this player before purchasing. I totally regret this purchase!

SOURCE: Ok I bought a riptunes mp3 player for my daughter

I Tunes is only for Ipods, they use an ACC format to play
Most other MP3 players use Windows Media Player (WMVor WMA) format or other format to play their music and videos on their players.
You can convert the I Tunes (ACC format) songs and videos to WMA/WMV or other formats by using a "Format Converter"
You can download a free format converter at: http://www.formatoz.com/
After you get the songs, videos converted, download them to Windows Media Player, plug in your MP3 player and it will be recognized by the Windows Media Player and then transfer your songs to your player.
You should be good to go.

SOURCE: Hello there, I am having trouble

Hi Theodore Rowe,
If you want an easy way to delete the files follow these instructions
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Deleting Files,Pictures,Videos,Audio
Books, Apps,etc. from MP3 Player/Ipod
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete"
Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
BE CAREFUL and do not delete files needed to operate your MP3 player.

I threw away the instructions on how to download songs onto a Riptunes MP3 player, and now I need instructions on how to download my songs from my laptop. I have everything I need like all of the necessary...

All I did with mine was created a playlist on Windows Media Player and then plugged in my Riptunes (same model) using the cable that came with the MP3. After the Icon comes up that says your MP3 is on your drive (just the box that shows that you can play from your Media player)- go back into Media Player and press sync. It'll show it moving your music in the right hand corner. When it's done, it'll tell you that you can remove your MP3. You should be good to listen to your music at that point :)

Sansa e250 formatting and memory troubles

you should try putting into recovery mode. to do this, connect it to your computer, then push the hold button down so the orange is showing. Next you want to hold down the record button on the side of your mp3 player, now while holding that down also press and hold the power button. in a few seconds it should go to recovery mode. if you need more information, heres a link to the forums. http://forums.sandisk.com/sansa/board?board.id=e200
