For this problem you have to type 10^3.527 or e^3.527. Of course it is important to know the base a of your logarithm for generally solution a^3.527 . See captured images

SOURCE: Can you Factor on a TI-84? IF not, does the TI-89?

Well, to answer part of your question, yes... the TI-89 does factor like this. it is inputted like this:

factor(6*x^2+11*x+4,x)

Check the catalog in the TI-84 (which is 2nd-zero) and look under F for factor()

SOURCE: comma key on TI-84 Plus Siver Edition calculator.

The comma key on the TI 84 SE is above the 7 key, and it is just left of (, right of x squared, and below SIN. thats where the "," key is. If you're asking something else, please clearify. My understanding is that you don't know where the comma key is.

SOURCE: Find the antilog on the TI-84 Plus for finding pH in chemistry problems

I'm not specifically familiar with the TI83 or TI84 but I've used a lot of TI calculators in my time, so I'll give it a try. If your trying to find the antilog of a number in base 10 enter the number and hit the (10 to the X) button. If you're trying to find the antilog of a number in in base e (natural log), enter the number and hit the (e to the X) button.

How to calculate cube root on simple calculator

That depends on how simple a calculator. I'll give some examples below for calculating the cube root of 8.

On a TI-86, press 3 2nd [MATH] F5 MORE F4 8 ENTER

If the calculator has a "^" or "y^x" key, raise 8 to the 1/3 power. Again, on the TI-86, press 8 ^ ( 1 / 3 ) ENTER

If the calculator has a logarithm key, take the logarithm, divide it by three, then take the antilogarithm. Again, on the TI-86, press 2nd [e^x] ( ln 8 / 3 ) ENTER

On a slide rule, place the hairline over the number on the K scale and read the cube root on the D scale.

I have a Texas Instruments TI-84 plus silver edition calculator, and I need to know if it has a exponent key?

If you want to raise a number to another, use the ^ key located just above the divide key.
For natural antilogarithm (exponentiation of e), use 2ND [e^x] (the shifted function of the LN key).
For common antilogarithm (exponentiation of 10), use 2ND [10^x] (the shifted function of the LOG key).
To enter a decimal exponent as part of a number, use 2ND [EE] (the shifted function of the comma key, located just above the 7 key.

On the TI-30X scientific calculator, does the "LN" button perform the same function as the "EXP" button?

If you shift it with the [2nd] button, yes. The [LN] button by itself computes the natural logarithm. When prefixed by the [2nd] button, it computes the natural antilogarithm (the exponential function).

Is it possible to change the faceplate of the TI-84 Plus calculator?

Yes, you can change the faceplate of the TI 84PLUS Silver Edition only, not the TI 84 Plus. Face plates are available for purchase at the TI online store. When you go the online store, select the country, then the calculator model. You will find them under accessories for the TI 84 Plus SE.

When ever i turn on my ti-84, it says waiting..... PLease install operating system now.

Hi biancaaii,

You need to re-install the Ti 84 Plus OS, ASAP!!! You can fix the problem by installing the newest Ti 84 Plus 2.55v. MP OS. operating system.

If you have a friend that has a Ti 84 Plus or, Ti 84 Plus Silver Edition you can connect the two calculators together through the IO link ports and, they can send you a copy of their OS while you receive it on your Ti 84 Plus. Hopefully your friend will have Ti84 Plus 2.55v. MP OS on their calculator or, it might not work.

If you can't find a calculator to connect to you can connect your Ti 84 Plus to a computer that has Ti Connect software on it. If you need to connect your Ti 84 Plus to a computer make sure the Ti Connect software is operating properly. You do not want any hang-ups while installing the Ti 84 Plus OS. Be careful, even a power failure during the process of installing the OS will destory your calculator.

Procedure 1 to installing the latest Ti84 Plus 2.55v. MP OS

1). You can get the latest copy of Ti84 Plus 2.55v. MP OS and, guidebook by going to the Texas Instruments web site. You can get to that site instantly by clicking, "Ti 84 Plus 2.55v. MP OS!" Once your at the Ti site click the Download Item, "Ti84 Plus family operating system". Next you can login or, click "continue as guest". I'd would click the "continue as guest". Once you have click, "continue as guest" the Ti84 Plus family operating system will download to you.

Next, click "SAVE" and then a window to a folder will pop up. It is probably a window to a folder that you download too. If so, you may want to change it and, save to this folder, "My Documents \ My TI Data \ Downloads". You can also go back and, download the Ti 84 Plus guidebook too, if needed.

Link your computer and, Ti 84 Plus calculator with the USB cable or, Direct Black Link cable that came with the Ti 84 Plus calculator. Next, drag the Ti 84 Plus 2.55v MP OS that you saved earlier in "My Documents \ My TI Data \ Downloads" out of that folder and, drop it in the "Ti Connect" icon on the desktop. Click, "Continue" when the "Erase Warning" pops up and, the new Ti 84 Plus 2.55v MP OS will begin to install.

Next, the Ti Device window should pop up and, highlight the port when it finds what your Ti 84 Plus is using, USB1 cable or, Direct Black COM1.

oneplusgh_43.jpg
When the Ti Device Explorer finds and, highlights your calculator's information click, "Select." Then click, "Yes" when the next window shows up with your calculator's information and, the OS will continue to download. Upon completion the newest Ti 84 Plus 2.55v. MP OS will be installed.

If you run into any trouble with software or, drivers just comment to what failed at this posting and, I'll be glad to help you.

How do I calculate antilog using a TI-30XA?

For common antilogarithm use 2nd [10^x]. For natural antilogarithm use 2nd [e^x]. Those are the shifted functions of the two logarithm keys.

These two functions operate on the expression already entered into the calculator.

Example: to calculate the natural antilogarithm of .7:
