Question about HP OfficeJet 6110 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Kthtross has rated this solution as Inappropriate
This is very discouraging to those of who are attempting to help people for free might I add.
I made a mistake by not making this a clarification request.
What is Inappropriate about asking the Model Number and Who Makes the machine?
Take the time to mark this Inappropriate, but can’t take the time to answer the question.
That is just a nasty, rude individual.
Am I telepathic? A little help on your End sure would help those of us trying to help.
Apparently this is not the ANSWER your was looking for?
If your to stupid to include BASIC information maybe you deserve to pay someone to fix it for you!
Maybe next time kthtross can pay $150 an hour to have the problem fixed?
I would suggest saving your money for Etiquette school.
Learn a little about respect and decency.
I will probably be reported for this but that is ok, this solution is already Inappropriate.
What is wrong here is you asked for a model and manufacturer of an item that only you know what it is
it is up to the person asking the question to clearly understand that the responsibility to get a good answer lies with them as fixya site crystal balls are broken
It it was marked as inappropriate , it is wrong --it should have been marked as irrelevant
If you care to read the questions being asked and the natrocious spelling and grammar with a total lack of detail posted you will understand fixya site experts in trying to answer

51.23 Error - Yellow laser scanner error
Turn off the power by using the power
switch, wait at least 30 seconds, and then
turn on the power and wait for the printer to
initialize.
If a surge protector is being used, remove
it. Plug the printer directly into the wall
socket. Use the power switch to turn the
printer on.
If the error persists, contact HP Customer
Care. See HP Customer Care or the
support flyer that came in the printer box.

SOURCE: No answer when sending fax
The receiving fax machine never answered. Maybe their fax machine is set to MANUAL or is disconnected.
It's not your fax machine that's the problem.

Pardon me, but according to your profile, you've got some pretty impressive numbers relative to your solutions:
FixYa!: 11
Helpful: 12
Thanks for Trying: 6
Inappropriate: 1
There is only a single "inappropriate" and who's to say that the person clicking in that selection either didn't understand what it meant or was just so upset about their problem and so anxious to get a result that, when they received a Clarification Request instead, they reacted saying that the "answer" was not sufficient.
I would hope the people we try to help remember that this is a volunteer effort and that we are not paid support technicians. As another person who volunteers to help out here on occasion, my suggestion to you is to remember the same thing. This is just a volunteer gig. It's not your life and it certainly shouldn't determine any part of your self worth.
Hang in there. If you haven't already, move on to other problems and other solutions. Good luck.
