I purchased a digital camera yesterday model # CTA-01031S and charged the battery overnight. I took two (2) photographs this morning and it says "memory full". How can this be?

Now a days, most of the cameras come with very less memory. As the mega pixels go up, the size of the photos taken too goes up. you need more and more memory for photos now.
Now, you can try these two:
Try reducing the resolution of the pixtures being taken.
or
Buy, a new memory card with adequate memory.

Well you mentioned that it worked fine yesterday with the battery out of the box. That should tell you that the camera and the battery are both fine. The issue is likely the charger itself. Try recharging it again, and double check that you inserted the batteries correctly, and that any switches (such as for 2 or 4 battery charge) are set in the correct position on the charger. If this doesn't work, take the charger back to the store for exchange/refund as defective.

Unfortunately, it appears that this may be typical with your model camera. But before returning it, you may want to try it with a different set of rechargeable batteries if available. Have also heard other complaints that Kodak rechargeable batteries and chargers can be the problem.

I just bought a Nikon coolpix 3000 yesterday and I pluged for charging 6:30Am this morning. However the charge light is still blinking now(4:00Pm)Is this something wrong??

Hi,

There is a possibility that the lithium batteries are dead and won't charge up. You can go out and purchase 4 AA rechargeable batteries and put them in the battery pack and see if they will charge up.

If you still get a problem with the camera not charging, take the camera back and have it replaced.

NOTE: rechargeable batteries lose their life after a short while so it is a good idea to carry spares around with you.

Regards.

I purchased SS E15 yesterday and had it on charge overnight and this morning it is still showing :00. The charge/in use indicator is alight. I believe that I have made all the right connections. Eric.

The Uniden sse15 has come on linme and therefore I do not need any further assistance. I would like confirmation from you that the contract for the extra service charge after the first year be cancelled. It seems that the batteries took longer to charge than anticipated and from my earlier fax you should now be aware of this fact. I regret causing you any concern but I am now happy to inform you the fact is that all systems are go.

SNAPPING A PICTURE SOMETIMES FREEZES THE CAMERA AND I HAVE TO REM

1). Download all you pictures on the memory card onto your computer and format the memory card. This will enhance the performance. Its possible too much pictures are there on you memory card and therefore the camera performace drop and hangs.
2). Clean the battery terminals as well as the terminals on your battery and fully it charge it.

Try the above and let me know if the problem still persists.

A black shadow half way down the frame

2 cent plastic pin holding AF sub-mirror broke. See above. Unfortunately Canon charges a bit above 2 cents to fix it. Saving pennies on plastic instead of metal will make Canon a boatload of money because they will all break eventually. Of course if everyone changes manufacturer on their next camera this might backfire.

Battery low all the time

Try Eneloop batteries from Sanyo. They have the higher voltage needed. AND that voltage doesn't sag under the initial startup load.
