I was just trying to solve this exact same problem on my girlfriends A345 and upon inspecting the battery door I noticed a small tab had been broken off. I lined up the tab and just above the memory card where it says push to eject there is a slot. In that slot is a tiny black pressure switch that the broken off tab used to depress. I stuffed a small piece of wire in there and hit power and it works just as it did :) hope this solves your problem as I'm sure these tiny tabs break off without people noticing since the battery door closes and locks without them

I don't know how take a picture?

It's actually a lot easier than you'd think. You don't tell us what kind of camera you've got, but here are some general tips for beginners:

1. make sure the camera has charged batteries in it, and a memory card.
2. find the power button. It's probably on top, near the shutter "take a picture" button. Press and hold it until the camera comes on. It should show you the current 'view' on the screen.
3. If there's a selector dial on the top... turn it to the green one; that's 'easy shooting'.
4. fully press (squeeze) the button. Most kids who moan that 'it didn't take' it's because they only half pressed it. When it takes, the display will show the picture for a few seconds, before going back to the live view.
5. to see your picture, find a button that has the little triangle icon pointing right, like a 'play' button.
6. to go back to taking pictures, press the shutter button again
7. to turn it off, press the power button until it turns off

If that doesn't work for you, tell us what kind of camera you have. That'll make it easier (just a bit!)

When i press the power on button the green light fashes

You should press the button for about three seconds. This is to ensure that you don't turn on the camera by accident (f. ex. in your bag or pocket)

How to get manual focus on Olympus Camedia C-750 ultra zoom digital camera

TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTITf correct focus cannot be obtained
When the subject to be focused is not on the AF target mark (not positioned
in the center of the composition), you can use the following steps to obtain the
correct focus on the subject. This operation is referred to as "focus lock".
Determine the position of the subject after focusing (Focus Lock)
1 Press the power switch.
• The camera turns on in the shooting
mode.
• The lens extends and the monitor turns
on.
• The orange lamp lights.
2 Turn the mode dial and select a
shooting mode.
"Shooting mode" (P.36)
3 Position the AF target mark on
the subject you want to focus on.
• When shooting a hard-to-focus
subject, point the camera at an object
about the same distance away as the
subject.
Press the shutter button halfway
until the green lamp lights.
• When the green lamp lights steadily,
the focus and the exposure are locked.
• When the green lamp blinks, the focus
and exposure are not locked. Release
your finger from the shutter button, reposition
your subject and press the
shutter button halfway again.
5 Keeping the shutter button
pressed halfway, recompose
your shot.
6 Press the shutter button fully.
Try the above, info from D-535, C-370 and X-450.
I can email you the complete manual if this works.
Regards
Phillip

Optio S4i - Freezing problem on green switch

I don't know for sure, but it sounds like it could be a memory card problem. Have you tried it with another card or no card at all? My S4i froze up completely from a bad sd card. The green power button would light up, but nothing else would happen. Pentax recommends Lexar or Panasonic sd cards from what I have heard. My new Lexar card hasn't had any issues.

Why doesn't the shutter button on my EasyShare digital camera work?

The cause and solution may include one of the following: The camera is not turned on. Turn on the camera. The camera is processing a picture; the camera Power ring light (on the Mode dial) blinks green. Wait until the light stops blinking before taking another picture. The card or internal memory is full. Transfer pictures to the computer, delete pictures from the camera, switch storage locations, or insert a memory card with available memory. The shutter button was not pressed. Depress the shutter button completely down. There was a failure in the focus and/or exposure. Press the shutter button halfway to set the Auto Focus (AF) and Auto Exposure (AE). When the AF/AE indicator turns green, press the shutter button completely down. The battery is exhausted. Replace or recharge the battery
