SOURCE: problems connecting phillips tv to panasonic sc-pt660 home theate

I just bought a sc-pt660, I have a philips tv too, the TV only available output is digital coax but the home theater only has digital optical input, you may buy a digital coax to optical converter like this one:
http://www.amazon.com/Cables-Go-Coaxial-Optical-Converter/dp/B0002J2MV4/ref=pd_cp_e_3?pf_rd_p=413863501&pf_rd_s=center-41&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B000I98ZQY&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=1BS8MKCZ1CWQR071S8RN

Alternativelly you can also use the headphone output that is near the side input in the TV and buy an RCA adapter like this one from radioshack: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2103225

SOURCE: How to connect pc to Panasonic SC-HT730 home theater system?

From what I can tell from your manual, you do not have auxiliary audio inputs on your system. You can, however, use the TV audio input for sound from your laptop. You will need to purchase an adapter cable that goes from male 1/8" stereo mini plug on one end (your computer jack) to a split (Y) male rca type jack (two connectors for R&L inputs on system. Then you'll need some length of 1/8" male to female miniplug extension cable. You can use the miniplug speaker jack on your laptop as an output.
Of course, if you're using the TV audio inputs, and don't want to unplug them to plug your laptop in, you'll need another pair of splitter cables for those rca jacks on your system so you can plug two different pairs of input devices into them, but I'd try to avoid this scenario if possible.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take a moment to kindly rate this post....thanks!

SOURCE: connecting a ps3 to a Panasonic SC-RT70

Just use the provided A/V connector and connect it to an unused A/V input. You will only get Pro Logic surround with this connection method but since your receiver has no digital or HDMI inputs that's all you can do.

Good Luck,
BB

Can I download a cd onto my iPhone on a Panasonic SC-HC20DB

You can't record a CD that is playing on the Panasonic SC-HC20DB to the iPod. However, if you rip the CD and put the contents of the CD on your compatible iPod, you can play the resulting audio files on the Panasonic SC-HC20DB. The list of compatible iPods and iPhones is available in the manual, see https://www.manualslib.com/manual/647714/Panasonic-Sc-Hc20db.html?page=12#manual for a copy.

I hope this helps. Note: the SC-HC20DB only plays CD-DA and MP3s on CDs. I'm not sure if the restriction applies to audio files from the iPod.

Checking ipod connection

Check the pins on the inside of the Ipod and the dock. It could be making contact with the power pins but not the send receive pins. Small pin will help you bend these out gently to make contact again.

My new Panasonic SC-HC57 is showing a 'checking connection' message when I put in my ipod Classic into the dock. I've upgraded my ipod to the newest software through iTunes, but still no

Not all ipod classic work with your SC-HC57 you need an older Panasonic SC-HC30 to work with that ipod :( or an iphone or ipod touch to work with your SC-HC57

Can i paly ipods with this system

From the looks of it, no. The system appears to only be able to play DVD via the connected player.

There does not appear to be any external inputs to connect your iPod to.
