You can't directly transfer it by copy/paste and all that. You have to use their Sonic Stage program. Did you?

Cant play back tracks no data

Did you add songs to it yet? To add songs to it plug it in the your computer and import the songs to it. If it still won`t work rebuild your data base. Doing so well factory reset your Walkman and fix any bugs in your Walkman.

How do i get songs on my slick mp3 player??????

If you are using windows xp open my computer
The mp3 player should be there as a removable drive
You can drag and drop mp3 files into
Or you can use windows media player to sync the songs you want on it

Cant use ny sony mp3 player

It depends the songs you played to your sony, maybe they cant compatible for the songs you played that's why the screen appears on the screen no data. Try to check the connection of your mp3 player.

Format Error

I hade just that prob. "format error" used to display. I did this:
1. dwl sonicStage (free)
2.- in the walkman went to menu/initialize/format
then displayed a confirmation screen, I confirmed
it displayed "formating...... COMPLETE"
3.- THEN plugged into the PC and transfered songs with Sonic
and it worked!
