Question about SanDisk Sansa c200 MP3 Player
I plug my mp3 player into the USB and before, the computer would do 2 chimes and my hardware would be detected. I could then put songs on my mp3 player. But now, I plug it in and it does 3 chimes all on the same note and nothing happens.
First, make sure the lock switch isn't engaged.
Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + (or Record) button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + (or Record) button in. Keep holding the volume + (or Record) button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
If you get the problem where MTP Device keeps popping up continuously, uninstall the “MTP Device” by going to Start --> Control Panel-->System--> Hardware--> Device Manager (you computer may vary slightly, depending on Windows Version).
