How to install .sis file in s40

Your phone is not support S60 and it only support S40. This is why the jad.* will unknown in your phone. Just use jar.* instead of jad.*. JAR files will working fine on your phone ( Nokia 5130 and other Xpress music).

The E63 is a s60v3 phone and will load all signed applications, also Java s40 v5, midp2 programs will load. To sign .sis applications search for imobile sign cert in this forum and use the acquired cert to sign all your .sis files. Enjoy your E63 its a great phone, I'm happy with mine.

sisx files are S60v3 installation files. sis files can be S60v2 or S60v3.
S60v2 files will not install on S60v3 handsets.
Unsigned sis or sisx files cannot be installed (unless you hack the handset). you have to sign the unsigned files before you install them.
better still, you can hack your mobile, so that you can install all unsigned and signed files.

Hello, The Nokia 2700 classic mobile phone runs on a java based operating system or S40 and not on a Symbian 60 operating system you cannot run the application of S60 on a S40 phone, better you can buy a Symbian 60 phones like N73, N70, E63.

This phone is Symbian S40 phone. It doesnt support SIS files, only java. Files with the .jar/,jad extensions.

YOU CAN NOT INSTALL .SIS FILE ON YOUR NOKIA 5130 BECAUSE NOKIA 5130 IS S40 SERIES PHONE WHEREAS .SIS FILE WORKS ON ONLY THOSE DEVICES WHICH HAS SYMBIANS (S60,S60V1,S60V2) OPERATING SYSTEM.
THERE MAY BE A .JAR FILE EXIST FOR THE SAME .SIS FILE GOOGLE IT OR TELL WHAT APPLICATION YOU ARE SEARCHING FOR.

u cant run sis file on nokia 3110c.. nokia s60 platform supports sis files... 3110c belongs to s40 platform

this phone is support only s40 serirs jar files so download in this format and enjoy it .

Unfortunately not as 3110 Classic is Symbian S40 not S60. Due to this you cant run it... but java can be installed there and there are alot of applications and games for your phone dear.
