Step 1Remove the SIM card from your Motorola phone. The SIM card is a small chip that is located under the battery in your cell phone. After you've removed the SIM card from your Motorola phone, remove the SIM card from your LG phone.
Step 2Insert the SIM card from your LG phone into your Motorola phone. Turn on the Motorola phone.
Step 3Press the "Menu" key and select the "Address Book" option.
Step 4Select "Options" by pressing the right soft key. The "Select Multiple to" option will appear on the screen. Choose the "Select Multiple To" option and then select "Copy to SIM to Phone."
Step 5Remove the SIM card that you placed in your Motorola phone and insert it in your LG phone. After inserting the SIM card, turn on your LG phone.
Step 6Click the "Menu" key on your LG phone and select the "Address Book" option.
Step 7Select "Options" and choose the "SIM Management" option.
Step 8Select the "Copy from SIM" option and choose "Select All."
Step 9Select the "Copy" option. Your contacts will be transferred from your SIM card to your LG phone.

I wold like to get my contacts back

Contacts are generally stored on the SIMM card inside your cell phone. Cell phone companies, such as US Cellular, do offer contact back-up services, which are quite handy when you lose your contacts or upgrade to a newer phone. With this backup service, they can simply transfer the contact info from their servers directly onto your phone. Task complete!

Why is my mobile nokia 2690 getting switched off on its own?

If your cell phone is in a pouch with a magnetic catch then the magnet could switch off your cell phone. This has happened to my Nokia.
The other thing that can switch off your cell phone is dirty battery contacts and dirty battery contacts in the cell phone. Vibrations will cause the battery to disconnect. Clean the battery contacts and the cell phone battery contacts with methylated spirits.

I have lose my mobile how can i trace it

Your best bet is to ring your cell phone and hope the personwho answers your cell phone will return your phone to you. If your cell phone is GPS enabled then it is possible totrack, but you need to contact your cell phone service provider. Otherwise I suggest you contact your cell phone providerASAP. What do I use to transfer my contacts from my old phone?

If you don't have something like "Data Pilot" which has cables and software for backing up cell phone information...

Normally you would put your SIM card int he old phone, go to the contact/addressbook menu and look for an option for "Copy to SIM"... Once you copy your contacts to the SIM (there's a limit) then you put it back in your new phone. You can then leave them on the SIM or copy them to the phone in much the same manner.

Good Luck!!

Whenever I Turn On My Phone It Says That The SIM Card Must Be Inserted, Even Though It's Already In.

The SIM card may not be making proper electrical contact in the cell phone.
Try removing the SIM card and cleaning the SIM card contacts and the SIM card contacts in the cell phone with methylated spirits. Then replace the SIM card in the cell phone.
