"162 system options not set"

Before you spend money, try pressing the key it prompts you for to enter the BIOS and look for an option to set the configuration to safe / default settings (its usually in the right most tab with the save / quit). Try selecting that, saving and quitting. This sometimes can get you past BIOS errors. Worth a shot compared to the hassle of swapping out the board.
Hope this helps.

Sorry you are having trouble.
I went to the HP website looking for your sound driver.
The bad news is that I did not find a driver for Win7
Go here and look: http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/11632_na/11632_na.HTML

90% am sure that your motherboard is DEAD...those kind of things happen due to high damage to the CHIPSET...(ex:-Thundering - shocks from telephone line is directed to the modem)...
>> The Green light is only to indicate that power is recieving...
>> It is better to check it from a repair center...

System Restart regularly

Sounds to me like your power supply may be failing or loose connections.

You don't mention if you're overclocking the CPU. Double-check the BIOS settings to make sure things are set properly.

Another thing to check is if the CPU is overheating. Make sure the heat sink is still firmly attached to the CPU and that the CPU fan is operating.
