Question about IBM ThinkPad G40 Notebook
I set the factory setting by push the IBM access button on start up now when i go to control panel i have no access to internet dsl nor wireless. My thinkpad has a wireless button which is located on the F5 button. The internet was working fine but the computer was moving really slow so i try to restore factory setting. How can i get my internet back up and running since i have no way of selecting an option to either enable or disable a network. I'm really not any good at computers. Thanks
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

SOURCE: IBM ThinkPad G40 2388 No power
Start by checking the power supply with an ohm meter to see if it's working, or has the proper output. If the supply is good, then the problem is most likely going to be with the power management system on the motherboard, and the motherboard will have to be replaced. This could be a serious problem, so If it's not the power supply, I would recommend that you take it to a service shop in your area to have the exact problem area tracked down. A power management system failure is common in these machines, but there are a few other replaceable board components that can cause this as well.
