Question about Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W55 Digital Camera
When i turn on my camera it says access. while the screen says access, the lens is popping in and out a couple of times, then it tells me to turn off the camera and back on. I read on a website to gently pull the lens and twist and that would fix my problem, but unfortenately it didnt.
I followed the advice on a couple of other boards which suggests you actually give the camera a few hard whacks on a tile floor. That worked for some people. With me, after whacking didn't work I took a knife used it to pry up the edge of the lense while it was trying to open. A little of that worked for me.
You can't imagine the sense of accomplishment I felt when the thing finally started working again after all the banging and prying. It's a tough little bugger!
