In order to pair your headset with another phone you have to put the headset into pairing mode. You can do this by:
Turning off your headset and press and hold the talk button until the blue indicator light remains lit after blinking.
Search for and pair with your phone according to yourphone's user guide. (Bluetooth PIN: 0000, 4 zeros)
If the pairing is successful, the blue indicator light willflash 10 times rapidly before entering Standby mode.
If the blue indicator light remains lit, retry pairing.
It is hardcoded to '0000' (four zeros). Anyway, put your headset in pairing mode, prior to trying to pair it with your phone. If it has never been paired with another device before, just by turning it on, it should enter that mode, denoted by its indicator light being steadily lit in blue. Otherwise, turn your headset off. Then, press and hold the Muiti-Function Button for far more seconds than the time required to turn it on, until its indicator light is steadily lit in blue. Then, within the next couple of minutes, bring your phone and headset close to each other, and make your phone's bluetooth application search for new devices. After a little while, your headset should appear on-screen. Select it and make your phone connect to it. If a pairing code (or PIN, or passcode) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros). If the pairing process is successful, your headset should enter the stand-by mode. There should be an indication on your phone too, that the pairing process has been successful. Otherwise, turn you headset off and repeat the pairing process all over again. Hope you are able to sort your problems out soon. Anyway, please, let me know if I can help you any further. By the way, if your headset's quick start guide happens to be missing, feel free to download it from this location. Regards, Carlos
The first time you turn on the headset it will enter "Pairing" mode. In
this mode you can connect your headset with your phone or other
Bluetooth enabled device. If you have already connected one device to
the headset, you can enter Pairing mode by holding the multi-function
button turns solid blue.
Once in pairing mode, set your phone or
other Bluetooth enabled device to search for the headset. While each
device is different, the setting is often found in a "Settings" or
"Bluetooth" menu and the "Search" or "Discover" Bluetooth devices
option. On the list of discovered devices, choose "Samsung WEP500" and
select "Yes" or "Ok" to connect to the device. When asked for the
passkey, enter 0000.
all you need to do hold doown the on button of the samsung wep 200 bluethooth for about 5 sec, till the headphone will enter searchmode, which the led light will be blinking continiously. note:- its possible for it to change color or it may be the same color
then immidiately you see that blinking continiously like that, turn on the bluethooth of your phone and search for audio device around or new pairing, then you will see the name of the samsung headset and now click the name on your nokia phone and it will ask you if you want to pair the device say yes and it will ask you for password its either 1234 or 0000 and thats all.
On my blackberry I have to turn bluetooth on. Then on the WEP 200 hold down the button untill you hear a series of beeps. The light should blink every so often once its on. Then go to bluetooth options and search for devices.
